Lotte

Another character from TLM comics!

While fleeing from an evil manta (not THE evil manta, but some evil manta *giggle*), Ariel meets Lotte, a beautiful mermaid, with green eyes and blonde hair. Lotte is astonished, she has never seen a mermaid in her life! She was adopted by a pair of black fish (or is it pair of fishes?) and only knowing that she looked different from her "parents" she thought she was ugly. So Ariel tells her that she is a real beauty and shows her Atlantica and all the merpeople. And in the end, Ariel herself recognizes that Lotte's parents, who seemed so scary at first, are truly beautiful.

Unfortunately, I don't know which stories were published in the US and what name "Lotte" was given originally from the disney comic artists. Maybe "Charlotte"? Maybe not...
Nevertheless I like this character. She's not only called beautiful by Ariel, she IS beautiful in every panel of the story .
